We are committed to protecting the privacy of our candidates, clients, and users of our website. We want to provide a safe and secure service where we deal with your personal information. This means information that identifies you personally such as your name, photo or contact details or data that can be linked with such information in order to identify you.

For the purposes of applicable data protection legislation, Get Hunted AB is the controller of your personal data and determines how and why your personal data will be processed. What personal information do we collect about you?

Recruitment Candidates

We collect the information necessary to be able to find available opportunities and further information needed to assess your eligibility through the different stages of recruitment. This information includes your name, contact details (address, email, telephone number), workplace, job title, IP address, family details, CV’s, identification documents, educational records, work history, employment status, and references.

We sometimes also collect sensitive personal information about you, such as details of criminal convictions and/or ethnic origin. We only collect sensitive personal information from you, and further process this data, where you have given your explicit consent or otherwise where permitted by law.

We do not collect more information than we need to fulfill our stated purposes.

B2B Contacts

We collect the information necessary to be able to manage our business relationship with your company, such as:

  • your name, workplace, and title.
  • Contact details such as address, e-mail address, and telephone number.
  • Information you provide in connection with meetings or events, such as requirements with respect to availability of premises or allergies.
  • E-mail correspondence and confirmation when you open or forward an e-mail from Get Hunted.
  • Your visit to our website and IP address.

Personal data we process in relation to other contacts:

  • Information you provide us with, such as emails, job applications, etc.
  • In the recruitment process we may also process data provided by references or former employees.

Where do we collect personal information about you from?

The following are the different sources we may collect personal information about you from:

  • Directly from you. This is information you provide while searching for a new opportunity (for example when you provide a CV) and/or during the different recruitment stages.
  • From an agent/third party acting on your behalf.
  • Through publicly available sources. We use a range of public sources including: o LinkedIn o Google o Facebook & twitter o Company Web sites and other social media platforms By Reference or word of mouth. For example, you may be recommended by a friend, a former employer, a former colleague or even a present employer.

How do we use your personal information?

  • Where we have a legitimate interest, we use certain personal data to determine which candidates might be worth approaching for a particular role. This is necessary for our legitimate interests as a search company. We don’t use any sensitive personal data without ensuring we have another basis for such processing.

How long do we keep your personal information for?

In order to allow our contacts to be kept up to date with the latest suitable placements and to maintain relationship we keep your information for the following periods:

  • Candidate data: Indefinitely, and or until we are requested to delete it.
  • Client contact details: Indefinitely, and or until we are requested to delete it.

Who do we share your personal information with?

We share your personal information with the client who has a position to fill, in order to determine with the client whether you are a good fit for the available position. We share your personal information with trusted third parties where we have retained them to provide services that you or our clients have requested, such as referencing, qualification and criminal reference checking services (as required), verification of the details you have provided from third party sources, psychometric evaluations or skills tests. These third parties comply with similar and equally stringent undertakings of privacy and confidentiality.

We share your personal information with third parties who perform functions on our behalf and who also provide services to us, such as professional advisors (e.g., attorneys, auditors), IT consultants carrying out

testing and development work on our business technology systems, research and mailing houses and function coordinators. These third parties comply with similar and equally stringent undertakings of privacy and confidentiality.

We share your personal information with our other Group companies (if any) for internal reasons, primarily for business and operational purposes. As we continue to develop our business, we may sell or purchase assets. If another entity acquires us or merges with us your personal information will be disclosed to such entity. Also, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information will be considered an asset of ours and, as such, it is possible they will be sold or transferred to third parties.

What happens if you do not provide us with the information we request or ask that we stop processing your information?

If you do not provide the personal information necessary or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal information, where this

information is necessary for us to provide recruitment services to you, we may not be able to match you with available job opportunities.

Do we make automated decisions concerning you?

We sometimes make automated decisions about you during the assessment stage of the recruitment process. We put assessment candidates through a structured screening process to assess whether each candidate meets the specific criteria for a particular position. These assessments may be fully automated e.g., online pre-screening tests. As these assessments may result in a candidate being deemed not suitable for a position by means of a solely automated assessment, we only undertake this activity with the candidate’s explicit consent. We also carry out personality profiling on candidates with the candidate’s consent.

Do we transfer your personal information outside of our database?

We sometimes transfer limited personal information outside of our database to clients and colleagues, however the utmost is done to keep personal information confidential, and we strive to ensure that any personal information is only used appropriately. We will never sell your personal data to a thirdparty.

What are your rights?

By law, you have a number of rights when it comes to your personal information. Further information and advice about your rights can be obtained from the data protection regulator in your country.

What does this mean?

1.You have the right to object to certain types of processing, including processing for direct marketing (i.e., if you no longer want to be contacted with potential opportunities)

We usually act on requests and provide information free of charge, but may charge a reasonable fee to cover our administrative costs of providing the information for:

  • baseless or excessive/repeated requests, or
  • further copies of the same information. Alternatively, we may be entitled to refuse to act on the request.
